Thanks for taking the time to check out The Oaks. We are a church located in Middletown, Ohio working to bring a renewal movement of the gospel of Jesus Christ into the city of Middletown and the surrounding communities along the I-75 Cincinnati-Dayton corridor.

Childcare is provided. We have recently moved locations and are sharing a building with Faith United Church in downtown Middletown. Our new building is located downtown behind Central Pastry. There is adequate parking all around the church building.

The term “barrier-free” means we do not demand people follow a bunch of “man-made” rules and regulations. Therefore, the dress is casual, the music is relevant, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

We are Bible-based. This means that we preach through the Bible, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter. We believe the Bible has the answers for all areas of life.

At iMPACT, we are not concerned with what a particular denomination teaches or with what our culture promotes as relevant. We are concerned only with what God’s Word says. We are real people, with real problems, finding real hope, in God’s Word. We invite you to come grow with us!

There’s no shortage of people who will tell you what’s wrong with the city. Instead of dwelling on the problems, we’re focusing on the solution.

Echo Church believes that Jesus will not only transform individual lives but entire communities. Our church was started in October 2005 with a desire to resonate the voice of God throughout the city and to the ends of the earth. When we step back and listen to what God is saying, we begin see the world in a different light.

Echo is a body of believers united by a common relationship with Jesus. We’re human: we laugh, we cry, we hurt, we screw-up; we’re not perfect. Our worship of God isn’t limited to Sundays but is lived out in our daily lives.

We love Cincinnati, enjoy its culture, and believe in its future. While questions will always surface, we invite you to journey with us as we seek God and work towards those answers.

BEHIND OUR NAME

Many people are curious as to why we’re called Echo Church. It began with a study of the Bible and an attempt to discern how God presents himself to humanity. God created the universe with his voice. God used prophets to verbally teach his commands. God sent His Son, who was also called the logos (Greek for, “The Word.”). Throughout the Scriptures, we read that God speaks. Since He speaks to us, it is our duty to share His words to others. They are not our words (we are not the source) so we merely “echo” God’s words to all creation. In Psalm 19:4, the poet observes, “Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

A Better Life with God
We see a people that experience life to the fullest. Jesus Christ came from Heaven to earth to bring “life and life more abundant” (John 10:10) and in Jeremiah 29:11, God gives an expression of His heart towards humanity – “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” At Seven Hills, we see a people that desire to receive the fullness of life that God has for us. We see a church that believes a better life through God is available to all people. We see a church that experiences God through inspired worship and relevant application of God’s Word.

A Better Life Together
John 7:38 “He that believeth in me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” God has put something at the core of who you are to pour out into the life of someone else. The battle to connect at the core is a battle that every believer must win. If the enemy can isolate you he can eliminate the life flow that God has made available through doing life together. We see a church that values developing meaningful relationships with other believers. We are not meant to go through this life alone, that is why we offer various connect groups for each individual to have the opportunity to “get connected”.

We desire to equip you to use those talents you possess, not only for the work of the ministry, but to help you be the best you can be. The spirit of team work here is exciting and contagious.
